17 killed, 88 badly injured in Sumatra earthquakes

JAKARTA (JP): As of Saturday, the death toll in Sumatra earthquakes reached 17, Elshinta radio reported.

The radio station said 88 people were badly injured in a series of powerful temblors which had hit the island since Wednesday evening.
