SURABAYA : The Tanzanian government wanted to send a team to Indonesia to study East Java's agricultural system, Governor Imam Utomo said Thursday.
Imam made the statement after receiving Tanzanian Agriculture Minister Stephen Masato Wasira at the Grahadi building.
"The Tanzanian minister wants to improve the agricultural sector in his country. Therefore, he will send members of his ministry to study the system in East Java," the governor said after receiving Tanzanian Agriculture Minister Stephen Masaro Wasira.
He added Masato also wanted East Java to invest in agricultural equipment industry in his country.
He said an East Java-based PT Rutan Agrindo had invested in Tanzania, however there is no Tanzanian investment in East Java.
