SUKABUMI, West Java : A search and rescue (SAR) team is continuing its search for six people who went missing off Citepus beach in Sukabumi, West Java, on Saturday.
A SAR official, Rukiman, said Wednesday the team had expanded their search zone to Bayah beach in the neighboring province of Banten.
"Today, we searched for the victims within a 20-mile (32.2-kilometer) radius from the original location where they went missing, but we got nothing so far," he said.
The six went missing Saturday after being swept out to sea by freak waves. One man was killed in the incident.
