SITUBONDO, East Java : Thousands of people in Situbondo, East Java, affected by Monday's earthquakes are suffering from a lack of clean water.
The earthquakes reportedly damaged many household wells.
"I have not taken a bath because our well doesn't have any water anymore," Karni, a resident of Curah Kalak village, said Tuesday.
Hundreds of buildings collapsed and dozens of people were injured after two moderate earthquakes struck Situbondo.
